Terms of Service
These terms cover the accessibility/SEO scan, report, fix, and monitoring services offered by Complyde ("we," "us") at complyde.co. By purchasing or booking a call with us, you agree to them.
The service
We scan your public website using axe-core and Lighthouse, produce a plain-English report of what we find, and — for a flat $500 — fix every issue found across the pages scanned, plus any shared-template or component-level fix that resolves the same violation site-wide. Bespoke fixes on pages outside what was scanned are not included unless the fix is templated and applies automatically.
No compliance guarantee
We identify and fix real, code-level accessibility and SEO issues. We do not make legal compliance determinations, since compliance is a legal question outside the scope of any technical fix, and we don't guarantee that any fix makes your site immune from a claim, lawsuit, or demand letter. You are solely responsible for determining your own legal or regulatory compliance obligations, and we encourage you to consult your own attorney on that question — we are not a law firm and nothing we deliver is legal advice.
Your authorization to us
By purchasing a fix or otherwise engaging our services, you represent that you own the website in question or have the legal authority to authorize us to access, scan, and modify it, and you authorize us to do so for the purpose of delivering the service.
Payment
The $500 fix is a one-time payment processed through Stripe. Monthly monitoring, where purchased, renews automatically until cancelled — you can cancel at any time by emailing us.
Refunds
If we haven't started work on your fix, you can request a full refund within 7 days of payment by emailing hello@complyde.co. Once work has begun, refunds are considered case by case.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service, the report, and any fix are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every possible accessibility or SEO issue on your site will be found or fixed.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, Complyde isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service, including any legal claim related to your website's accessibility. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is capped at the total amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Complyde harmless from any third-party claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the service, your website's content, or your breach of these terms.
Ownership of fixes and reports
Once you've paid in full, code changes we make to your website become part of your website and you own them. We retain ownership of our own scanning methodology, tools, and report format, and may use anonymized, aggregated findings (never your business name or identifying details) to improve our service.
Dispute resolution
If a dispute arises, contact us first at hello@complyde.co— most issues can be resolved directly. If we can't resolve it that way, any dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, not as a class or representative action, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court instead of arbitration if it qualifies.
General
These terms are the entire agreement between us regarding the service and supersede any prior discussion, proposal, or representation not written here. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version, and continued use of the service after a change means you accept the update. Neither of us is liable for a delay or failure to perform caused by something reasonably outside our control. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any action not subject to arbitration above will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida.
